ODG by MCG January 2025 Release & Updates

The next ODG release will be on Friday, January 17, 2025.

This release contains updates to the following:

Metrics

Return-to-Work benchmarks in all ODG solutions

TAO Index/UR Advisor data in ODG for Workers’ Compensation and ODG for Auto Injury

The ODG Risk Assessment Scores in ODG for Workers’ Compensation and LTD Predictor in ODG for Disability

ODG return-to-work data is used to help optimize timely return-to-work and accurate reporting.

These metrics are updated annually and can be filtered by diagnosis and procedure, including ICD-9, ICD-10, and CPT with claims-specific modeling using comorbidities, demographics, and confounding factors. The update of the return-to-work data triggers an automatic update of the related ODG Risk Assessment Scores.

Treatment Guidelines

The following treatment guidelines have updates to their content and title:

The following treatment guidelines have updates to their criteria:

• Cervical Discectomy, Microdiscectomy, Foraminotomy, or Laminotomy

• Cervical Fusion, Anterior

• Cervical Fusion, Posterior

• Epicondylar Release

• Lumbar Discectomy, Microdiscectomy, Foraminotomy, or Laminotomy

• Lumbar Extension Exercise Equipment for Low Back Conditions

• Lumbar Fusion

• Lumbar Laminectomy

• Spinal Cord Stimulator (SCS)
